A collection of memories and recipes for dishes prepared at IZBA, a café run by the Robida collective, located in the main square of Topolò (a small town in northeastern Italy). This place is a daily meeting point, the setting for lively conversations, family gatherings, and celebrations.

Like IZBA itself, this publication is a small universe brimming with friendship, affection, anecdotes, and, of course, recipes. Laura Savina and Ola Korbańska have compiled some of these recipes to create the first cookbook dedicated to this place. Organized according to the rhythm of the day—from breakfast, the most intimate meal, to the evening with sweet dessert, passing through piles of gnocchi and fresh salads, sunset appetizers, and finally, lunch and dinner—this book is a journey through time and space: a tour of daily life in Topolò and the surrounding area of ​​IZBA.

The illustrations of iconic IZBA objects, such as the grappa machine, the collection of coffee makers, the brick-shaped butter, and the Pelinkovac liqueur, capture the essence of this very special place. The paper is soft, and the special binding allows the pages to open completely flat, making it easy to read the recipes while preparing the featured delicacies.
