TOILETPAPER was founded in 2010 by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari with artistic direction by Micol Talso as an image-based magazine.

Since its first issue in June 2010, it has created a world that showcases ambiguous narratives and a haunting imagination, always with its peculiar sense of humor, surrealism, and distinctive aesthetic.

As its creators state, "Sooner or later all magazines end up in the toilet."

Following the success of ToiletMartin PaperParr and ToiletAlex PaperPrager, ToiletMiles PaperAldridge is the third magazine collaboration from the Toiletpaper duo, Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari. British photographer Miles Aldridge has developed an editorial style that is at once haute couture and chromatic, yet also surreal. He is influenced by the films of Federico Fellini and David Lynch and the photography of Richard Avedon, as well as by the album covers and book designs created by his father, Alan Aldridge.

As David Lynch, one of Aldridge's inspirations, once said of his work: "Miles sees a color-coordinated, graphically pure, hard-edged reality." This latest issue of Toiletpaper presents a selection of Aldridge's glamorous and elaborately staged images in a palette of vibrant, acid-hued tones.
