Since 1954, Djeco toys have contributed to children's development through playful, educational, and imaginative collections. This is the story of a family business passed down from mother to son, a tribute to Véronique Michel-Dalès. She founded this small company in 1954, a time when few women ventured into such undertakings. She created beautiful, intelligent, and playful learning games.

The family business went dormant and her son, Frédéric, grew up. In 1989, the young man decided to revive Djeco and take over the family business. He set up offices in the old warehouse. Initially, he traveled the world, importing toys that didn't exist in France. His global perspective still permeates the small French company. Then, he dreamed of toys that weren't available on the market. So, he simply had to create them!

In 1997, endowed with an artistic sensibility rare in the toy world, he invented a collection of educational games. He started with puzzles, wooden toys, cardboard puzzles, and later expanded the ranges with card games, board games, and symbolic games. This continues to the present day, where the brand has reinvented itself to adapt to the contemporary world, regularly launching entirely new collections conceived by an artistic direction that prioritizes graphics, design, and aesthetics.
