“…the only advice one person can give another about reading is not to accept any advice, to follow their own instincts, their own judgment. To draw their own conclusions. If we agree up to this point, I take the liberty of proposing some ideas and suggestions, because you will not allow these to limit your independence, which is the most important attribute of a reader. After all, what laws can be established about books? The Battle of Waterloo was fought on a specific date; but did it Hamlet is better than King Lear ? Who knows?
In 1926, Virginia Woolf gave a talk on reading to the students of a private school. A revised version of that talk was eventually preserved for posterity in The average reader (1932), a volume that could well be titled The Common Reader , because although the English title refers to an idea of Samuel Johnson ("common" is one who reads without "literary prejudices"), the phrase also alludes to the author herself in her role as a reader. It is this 1932 version that is offered here in Spanish, accompanied by Ji Hyun Yu's illustrations.

Should you be unsatisfied with your purchase, you can return the product within the first month. Please note that the cost of return shipping falls under your responsibility.
For in-store returns, we provide a refund in the form of a gift voucher. However, for online purchases, we issue a direct refund given that not being able to physically see the product does have its limitations.
In case of a defective product, we will fully reimburse the cost of the product and the shipping expenses once we receive and inspect the item.
