ARCHIVIO is a biannual Italian magazine focused on archives, and its content is built exclusively from archival documents. Each issue includes the most relevant archives from around the world, featuring a selection of high-quality images and exclusive content.

In this new issue of ARCHIVIO, guest editor Massimo Banzi and associate editor Cecilia Botta present an exploration of the technological archives landscape, divided into three sections: “Histories”, “Institutions” and “Collectors and Collectives”.
The “Stories” section opens the magazine with an exploration of key moments in the digital revolution, tracing cultural and technological trajectories that transformed our way of life, while the “Institutions” section highlights museums, research centers, and foundations that preserve, study, and exhibit technological artifacts. Finally, “Collectors and Collectives” focuses on individuals and groups that have preserved key fragments of our technological heritage, safeguarding not only objects, but also stories, experiences, and human perspectives.
