Ambitious, precise, and formally captivating, this graphic novel narrates the lives of various characters on an ordinary day... Until it isn't.

The lives of several characters intersect on an ordinary day, March 22nd, when, as always, the sun rises in the east and, before it sets in the west, someone will fall in love, someone will lose a friend, someone will care for their sick mother, someone will be born, someone will arrive late and tired at work. A day when everything can change, while somewhere else (always somewhere else), bombs fall, and the end of the world seems possible.

While the media reports on conflicts ravaging half the world, several characters show us snippets of their daily lives: their jobs, their social relationships, their heartbreaks. In the future, in the form of a masterful prologue, the threat materializes as bombs falling and lives in danger. The end of the world that no one wants to see.

Someday we will look back and ask ourselves: what was the day the end of the world began? An ordinary day, a normal day.

Each chapter covers the 24 hours of the day and addresses a contemporary issue: individualism; mental blindness; the alienation caused by new technologies; selective perception. Evasion mechanisms to continue with life.

A tapestry whose common thread is the city.
